Brake shoes are lining inside of the brake drum. During braking the lining pushes up and against the brake drums, creating friction, then energy is dissipated as heat through out the drum. Most modern vehicles uses disc rotor brakes as their primary way to braking. This is due to the superior heat dissipate ability of the disc rotor brakes. Brake shoes are generally seen in today’s automobile’s rear brake systems.

KFE Brake Systems currently do not carry any brake shoes, please check back for any future updates!
